Liu Mei, PhD

I am an Instructor at the University of Nebraska Medical Center (UNMC), appointed in September 2024. I bring a strong academic foundation to this role, having earned my Ph.D. from Zhejiang University in China and completed postdoctoral training at the University of North Carolina (UNC).

My research expertise lies in Cell Biology and Cancer Biology. My work focuses on uncovering the fundamental cellular mechanisms that drive cancer progression, with the goal of translating these discoveries into innovative therapeutic strategies.
